So we had a bit of a crisis here this morning.... Started off with Beaumont spilling the rest of my moms coffee mocha on our beige couch. I of course flipped out, thanks though to mom and aunt joyce being here, they knew exactly what to do.... my mom rubbed ice all over the stain... which was massive, and dabbed, rubbed ice, and dabbed.... while she was doing this, Aunt Joyce and Brady went to Target to get some sort of stain remover... oxy something or other... They came back sprayed the couch.... Let it sit, then wiped it off and took out the hair dryer and dried it... Couch cushion looks like new... Thank goodness because that stain was bad! Then came the dry clean only Pottery Barn blanket that got chocolate all over it as well... we didn't know it was dry clean until after Brady had DOUCED (sp?) it with the oxy stain remover... which it tells you to then put the stained item into the washer... okay, what the heck... the 50.00 blanket was ruined anyway (serves me right for buying a blanket that costs that much in the first place). So we put it into the washing machine..... The washing machine goes for approximately five minutes then stops... and this strange burning smell starts to come from it... so we call a repair man who comes about two hours later... and wouldn't you know it, the washer starts right when he tries to turn it on... Let me tell you, that was $55.00 well spent :p. And all because of Beaumont wanted a little bit of chocolate mocha...
