Me and Wes went up to Mountain High to go snowboarding... I am sunburnt (because of the sunny 60 degree weather... snowboarding in a t-shirt!!!), sore, and bruised.... but I loved every minute of it!!!!

For Brady's birthday I got him a Wii.... and since we are obsessed with snowboarding... Brady bought the snowboarding game (along with the Wii fit for the balance board)... Here is Brady using it... I spent a good two and a half hours playing on it today.....

Me and my mom got tickets to MSU vs. Ohio State hockey game... Let me tell you it was a GREAT game to go to. (Let me preface this by saying MSU had high expectations in the beginning of the year and have fallen off the wagon). As of two weeks ago MSU was last in the CCHA, they won two games last week so now are second to last... however tonight they played Ohio State (who are ranked) and got up 1-0 in the second period... We were up 1-0 the entire game, until Ohio State pulled their goalie, and with 10.7 seconds left in the game Ohio State scored... So we went to a five minute overtime, with which nothing happened. Then they had a shoot out (college rules are: three guys go out, if at the end of three there is no winner; the shoot out becomes sudden death). So MSU goes... misses.... OSU goes.... misses.... THEN MSU goes... and SCORES!!!!! OSU goes.... misses... then MSU goes.... misses :( and of course OSU goes and they make it... bummer.... So now we are on to sudden death.. MSU goes first and scores... OSU goes and MISSES!!!! Which means MSU WINS!!!! Big upset victory, and a very intense game! Mom and I were at the edge of our seats the entire night, and it is ALWAYS good to see the buckeyes lose :) GO STATE!

Yeah!!!! MSU won!!! Apparantely Michigan State has not won at Chrysler Arena since 2005 (go figure) really it is just because we play Michigan ONLY ONCE a season... strange... so last year we played them at home, the year before we lost to them at Chrysler... the year before we played them at home, the year before we played them at Chrysler (which was 2005) and we beat them... Oh don't you love how the media makes it look like we haven't beaten Michigan at all in the last five years... when really we lost to them once at Chrysler in five years... the year was 07! Anywho, the win was a scary and WAY TO CLOSE for comfort (reminder of last years Iowa game), but we came through with a W agains those little rodents in Ann Arbor...
One step closer to HOPEFULLY being Big Ten champs!!! GO STATE!
