Me and my mom got tickets to MSU vs. Ohio State hockey game... Let me tell you it was a GREAT game to go to. (Let me preface this by saying MSU had high expectations in the beginning of the year and have fallen off the wagon). As of two weeks ago MSU was last in the CCHA, they won two games last week so now are second to last... however tonight they played Ohio State (who are ranked) and got up 1-0 in the second period... We were up 1-0 the entire game, until Ohio State pulled their goalie, and with 10.7 seconds left in the game Ohio State scored... So we went to a five minute overtime, with which nothing happened. Then they had a shoot out (college rules are: three guys go out, if at the end of three there is no winner; the shoot out becomes sudden death). So MSU goes... misses.... OSU goes.... misses.... THEN MSU goes... and SCORES!!!!! OSU goes.... misses... then MSU goes.... misses :( and of course OSU goes and they make it... bummer.... So now we are on to sudden death.. MSU goes first and scores... OSU goes and MISSES!!!! Which means MSU WINS!!!! Big upset victory, and a very intense game! Mom and I were at the edge of our seats the entire night, and it is ALWAYS good to see the buckeyes lose :) GO STATE!
