Since our tradition is to go bowling with the Williams on New Years Eve and Christina won't be able to make it because she flies back to Florida on Monday, we did family day on Sunday. While Brady was meeting a friend for lunch, mom, dad, Christina, and I went bowling (I have to gloat... because I have never ever ever scored this high before: a 187, yep... I bowled a 187!!!) After bowling we went to the movies, then home to play cards.

Yes.... Another basketball game..... This time it was against University of Green Bay Wisconsin... or something like that. We won the game 93 - 75. Spartan fans needed a win today after our rough go of it yesterday.

Us and a couple of our friends went to Champps to watch the MSU/BC Champs Sports Bowl game. Little did we expect ourselves to lose another game by under seven points... this one losing by three points with a total of FIVE.... yes I said FIVE turnovers... 4 interceptions... and a fumble all done by our lovely qb Brian Hoyer... Oh Well... after the game we switched places and went to BW3's for some Wings and MSU hockey, and sadly hockey lost too.... not a good day for the Spartans :( But it was fun hanging out with our friends.

I scrapbooked some of the pictures that we already got developed in Michigan... It will be nice to be done scrapbooking these pictures before I get back (I won't be anymore behind than I already am). I got to use my new toys that I got for Christmas. The cricut and the sticker maker!!!

Michigan State (#10) vs. Texas (#4) at the Palace of Auburn Hills. My mom, Christina, and I went to enjoy the game. The prediction in the Lansing State Journal was the score 71 - 77, MSU... the actual score of the game 72 - 78, MSU. Pretty Darn close. That was a great game and a great win. Went out to the Hall of Fame restaraunt, which is a new restaurant in East Lansing, that has all of this Michigan State paraphenilia (sp?). Got to see Rachel (who lives in Michigan) and Kenzie (who lives in Arizona) for a nice little lunch of catching up.

For my mom's birthday, my dad, mom, and I went out to Hershey's Steakhouse for nice steak. I haven't had steak in forever, it was mighty tasty. My mom on the other hand had to send her steak back, not once..... but twice due to the fact that it was WAYYYYY undercooked, because the manager felt bad, we all got free dessert; and you know I can't say no to dessert, let alone free dessert.

Flew out to Michigan this morning... just in time for mom's birthday. She picked me up from the airport and from there we headed straight to the San Jose State basketball game and watched Michigan State beat San Jose State by a small margin of 40 points!!! Yeah! GO SPARTANS! What a great birthday present for my mom and I.

So Brady and I went to Target today, and as we got to the car when we were done there was a note on our front windshield!!! When we went to look at what it was, someone had written GO GREEN!!!! on the sign. That made my day, seeing as my car is a green G6, with a Michigan State Gymnastics sticker in the window, license plate that says SPRTN7, Spartan Alumni license plate frame, and Spartan Alum sticker on each side of my windows, I think they understood that I must be a Spartan fan!!!! My cars prophecy was fulfilled... hahaha!

The day of the bird poop..... I parked underneath a tree at Sierra Vista, and the birds had a fabulous time with my car.... it was very EMBARASSING driving my car home, thankfully Brady was nice enough to take it to the car wash while I was coaching....

Utah, and Salt Lake City, as most know is known for how religious and mormon the city and state is..... not only did we have to pray before the basketball game, but we came across a license plate that said "sabbath."

Brady and I took a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to watch the MSU Men's Bball team play BYU. After a very scary first half and a 14 point defecit, MSU pulled through another amazing victory.... we are definately turning out to be a second half team. Anyway, we had a great time and met some really nice Spartan Alum while we were out there.

I was super sick on Thursday night/Friday, but Mitzi had these prepaid tickets to go see Enchanted, so I went with her and the kids... after the movie you got to meet all of the Disney Princesses.... Here we are with Snow White!!! We had a ton of fun. When we got back from the El Capitan, I went home and went to bed for like two and a half hours... only to manage to eat a tiny bit of soup and go to bed about three hours later!!!!

Go State.... they lead the UCLA game for 39:30 minutes of the game.... unfortunately Mbah A Moote from UCLA decided he was going to make his first three of the night... and UCLA ended up winning.... all in all though, not bad considering we played the number one team in the nation

After seven sessions of coaching gymnastics.... (8AM Saturday til 9 PM Sunday) I am finally done. Here is me and Juliette... the very last session of the weekend, the Platinum session, this was for all of the girls who scored a 37 or higher at their sectional to make it to states... so this was for the uber elite girls!!!! I am happy to say that she did very well!!!! (I am also happy to say that meets are done for a while.... I can have a few weekends to myself).

Went down to San Diego for our Level 4 State meet this weekend.... and while we were down there we visited Old Town and visited the Whaley House.... one of the most well known "for real" haunted houses.... I took plenty of pictures looking for proof of ghosts... and this was as close as I got... Check out the right hand side of this picture... you can't see it real well on here, but when it is blown up to size (try clicking on it) check it out it looks like two eyes and a nose... its pretty freaky stuff....
