So I was sick all day.... started with pukey sick and upset stomach... then continued with a sore throat and stuffy nose through out the day..... trying to remember what mom always fed me when i was sick..... toast, grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup, gatorade, to rehydrate, and sprite.....

Went scrapbooking on Friday night, met up with some teachers from West Ranch and Mitzi and Megan... Although I did not get a ton accomplished I did accomplish more than MItzi did.... I got seven pages and done and I didn't get there until 7:45... granite, I did stay until midnight!!!

Well, little Beau has his new favorite spot.... we have like eight pillows on our bed, and he has fallen in love with the golden pillow on Brady's side.... that is where he slept last night, and that is where he spends all of his cat naps.... it is so cute to see him cuddled up..

A couple things today..... Brady and I purchased ourselves a little baby kitten... He is 7 weeks old, named Beaumont (nicknamed Beau). He is the cutest little thing ever.... The first thing the little guy did when we brought him home was hide behind the tv upstairs....

Also went to Cathy's 40th suprise birthday party at the Green's with some friends from work, Cindy, Tarah, and Andrew. Cathy is OBSESSED with Johnny Depp, hence the picture above of Johnny Depp!

sWest Ranch's baseball banquet was last night, and I left a tid bit earlier than Brady, so I asked him to take a picture of all of the senior boys jerseys that were hanging above the entry way... and well, as you can see... he took a close up picture of ONE of the jerseys.. thats what I get leavin Brady to do the pic of the day... so then I took a picture of the coaches gifts, which were these awesome West Ranch watches.... These things (as Brady would say) are "pearl." Anyway, I think that means they are pretty awesome!

I also will see this.... Brady can never give me a hard time about how long my senior collegiate gymnastics banquet was, because their banquet was a good 4 1/2 hours long (which I think went a half hour longer than mine did....)

Well, Brady finally got what he wanted (and I completely broke down). Brady wanted a Blue Ray player... so he asked the people at Best Buy what the best Blue Ray player was.... and the guy said, PS3.... he said the other ones were "pieces of crap" and that is a direct quote from what Brady told me.... I think it was just a man to man thing... and that would be the only way Brady would get a PS3... Whatever happened, or how it went down... it doesn't matter... Brady finally gets his PS3.... We mine as well get a Wii, so we can have all the gamin systems...

Happy Mother's Day out there to all of the mothers!

Today was a very domesticated day for me..... I painted our upstairs "office" finally.... it looks pretty nice all painted and with new furniture in it... as well as made dinner (chicken.... like a WHOLE chicken) from scratch... Steamed broccoli, lemon and garlic chicken, and herbed drop biscuits, followed by dessert of a chocolate cheesecake (which didn't get finished in time, so we will be enjoying that tomorrow night).

Me and Brady went a "Summer Meltdown" concert that was put on by Golden Valley's "Yes I Can." It is a group that helps with students in high school that have and social inclusion. anyway, Brady and I went because Trapt was playing.... and we absolutely love Trapt, and of course the money goes to a good cause!!!!

Today I got "official US Government mail." My passport came in the mail... so now I can officially travel to the Caribbean!!!!! Yeah!!!! I would like to say they told me 6 weeks, and I got my passport in just under two weeks... nice huh>? I am glad I did not pay extra to have it expressed!

Unfortunately, because of coaching I was unable to make any of the West Ranch baseball games this year..... but tonight was Senior Day... . and since I haven't been so much as near the field at all this season :( I take a picture of one of Brady's WR hats in honor of West Ranch's first Senior Day ever!!!

Cinco de Mayo

Well in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, Brady and I had Baja Fresh for dinner... thats about as celebratory as we got..... I did have a gymnast in my tumbling class say, "I don't even know who Cinco de Mayo" is when asked if they learned about Cinco de Mayo in school... I then told her Cinco de Mayo meant the fifth of May, and it wasn't a persons name. Click here on Cinco de Mayo for a brief history of what the day stands for.
