So... sad day for me... college bball is almost done, and I have nothing to do now in the sports world.... oh well... today is opening day for baseball, so maybe I'll get into that... but which team do I root for????

Well the Burrills came over to watch MSU hockey play against Notre Dame in their quest for the frozen four... and unfortunately, just like the night before with basktball, the spartans fell short.... :( It was a rather rough weekend for MSU athletics.

Sad day for MSU basketball as they lose to Memphis... who looks like they are actually a pretty darn good team.... But here is a pic (obviously I didn't take) of the future of MSU basketball.. Kalin Lucas and Durell Summers sitting with Tom Izzo ~ hopefully they will take the loss to a learning experience for next year.... Not sure what to do with my time, now that all of my spartan athletics are done until end of August when football meets up at Cal-Berkely for the season opener!

West Ranch's Prom Fashion Show.... need I say more.
Brady dressed up in a tux and taught all day (brings a whole nother meaning to dressing up for work). And then him and others walked the cat walk in West Ranch's prom fashion show... Here is Brady (pulling his hamstring) down the catwalk, as Casey is awaitin his turn behind him.... Gotta love the Burrill boys!

My flight got in early on Sunday night.... like a half hour early, and as my flight landed, I called Brady to see where he was at.... he hadn;t left yet... then when he got there (an hour and a half later) he didn't notice i died my hair back blonde. (He is the ONLY reason why I go blonde, if it were up to me, I would stay dark!!!!) Anyway... he bought me a dozen roses and had a wonderful dinner awaiting me!!! Thank You Brady!!!! I appreciate everything you do!

The spartans live for another week... What I love about our win this past weekend, is we can still sit and talk and listen about spartan bball.... B/c after bball is done... i have to wait like seven months before collegiate football.... what will i do with all my time?

Sunday March 23, 2008 Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everyone. Still in Michigan over here for Easter Sunday. My mom and I went to church in the morning and then when we got home my dad made his legendary french toast for "brunch." We didn't have time to do an easter dinner because I have to leave here around 4:30 to fly back to California! Anyway, it was a great weekend, hope everyone else had a fabulous Easter weekend.

Happy Birthday to dad!!!! He turned 56 today!!!!! Oh yeah and GO STATE!!!! I met Lauren, Anna, and Merritt at Trippers to watch MSU play Pitt in the second round... and we enjoyed an awesome game!!! MSU won... to all those nay sayers who picked Pitt to win!!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! GO GREEN! GO WHITE!!! GO SPARTANS!!!

At outback for my dad's birthday dinner
Went back to Michigan for the Easter weekend (tomorrow is also my dad's birthday). So I will be able to celebrate my dad's birthday and Easter with my family!!! But little did I know what I was in for.... we got approximately 4 inches of snow on Friday... I look outside and it could possibly be the middle of January right now... Because of the snow my poor dad wasn't able to meet us at Outback Steakhouse for his "birthday dinner" until 8:45. He left work at 6... didn't get to Outback til 8:45. None the less we still had steak at 9:00 at night while still being able to enjoy the tournament bball games.

Selection Sunday: It's finally here, MARCH MADNESS!!!! Let's go State!
My favorite time of year!!!! March Madness has officially begun!!!! MSU is seeded in the dangerous 5-12 bracket... which is scary.... but I think we will NOT be this years upset!!!!

Sad day... MSU lost to Wisconsin by two in the final eight seconds of the semi final game :( so to sooth my sorrows Brady and I went to the mall.... With all of the running and working out I have been doing it was long past due for a good pair of new running shoes!!!! I haven't bought a new pair of running shoes in about three or four years... so i am super pumped to try these ones out on monday.

Basically... I live in my car... cuz I go to the gym in the morning.... then to school to student teach.... then to coach.... I don't get home until 8 on most nights.... so this is what I have to clean out every single night.... Stuff from teaching, stuff for working out, and stuff for coaching... whew.
